Children's Inn offers the opportunity of new beginnings for victims. The ultimate goal of Children's Inn programs is to break the cycle of violence and abuse.

Many relationships experience violence.

This may take the form of:

  • Hitting, slapping, pushing, choking, beating, or inflicting serious injury.
  • Threats of physical harm.
  • Destroying belongings or threatening to destroy them.
  • Name calling, saying cruel things to humiliate.
  • Forcing a partner to engage in sexual behavior.
  • Isolating a partner from friends, family and support systems.
  • Extreme jealousy.
  • Cruelty to pets to control a partner's behavior.
  • Shifting responsibility for the abusive behavior to the victim.
  • Using the children to control a partner's behavior.
  • Not allowing a partner to be involved in family or economic decisions.

Violence within a relationship will not end without some form of intervention.

Children's Inn services are provided regardless of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
